What versions of Photoshop does Framebatch support?

Framebatch supports Photoshop 2025 and one version prior. We regularly update the application to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of Photoshop.

How do I name layers in my templates for Framebatch to recognize them?

Framebatch identifies image placeholders by naming convention. Simply name your layers "image_1", "image_2", etc., and Framebatch will automatically recognize them as image placeholders.

Can I use Framebatch offline?

Yes, Framebatch works offline. The application only needs to verify your license every 2-3 days, so you can work without an internet connection between verification checks.

How many artboards can Framebatch process at once?

While there's no hard limit, we recommend a maximum of 20 artboards for optimal performance on typical machines. Processing time is approximately 0.5-1 second per artboard.

Will Framebatch be available for Windows in the future?

Framebatch is currently only available for macOS. However, since it's built using Electron, we're exploring the possibility of Windows compatibility in future updates.

Photoshop doesn't launch automatically

If Photoshop doesn't launch automatically when you start Framebatch, try the following:

  1. Make sure Photoshop is installed in the default location
  2. Check that you have the correct version of Photoshop installed (2025 or one version prior)
  3. Restart Framebatch and your computer
  4. Launch Photoshop manually before starting Framebatch
